Finvacon Ltd is a Finnish industrial sub-contract manufacturer established in 1970. We produce high-quality components for world’s leading transformer and electric motor manufacturers. With approximately 80 employees and annual revenue of €8 million, our operations are certified according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, EcoVadis, and APQP4Wind standards.

We are looking for an HR Specialist to support and develop our people processes across the entire employee lifecycle. In this role, you will work closely with management and employees to ensure effective HR operations, employee development, compliance, and workplace well-being in a modern manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, and employee induction processes.
  • Develop and maintain the competence matrix and personnel development plans.
  • Coordinate annual HR activities, including performance reviews, training plans, and workforce planning.
  • Support employee well-being, engagement, and occupational safety initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Finnish labor legislation and applicable collective agreements.
  • Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
  • Support payroll-related administration, including working hours, absences, holidays, and timesheet verification.
  • Provide guidance and support on employee relations and day-to-day HR matters.
  • Participate in the continuous development and digitalization of HR processes and practices.
  • Prepare HR reports and perform other administrative HR tasks as required.

What We Expect

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in HR administration and employee lifecycle management.
  • Good understanding of Finnish labor law and practical application of collective agreements.
  • Experience in recruitment, onboarding, employee development, and HR administration.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is considered an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with a proactive, people-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across the organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written competency in English, working knowledge of Finnish and Swedish, in addition to any other European language, is an advantage.
